On February 8, representatives from 22 school districts and ESDs from Washington and Oregon attended the Interactive Panel Showcase, hosted by ESD 112’s DigitalEdge Purchasing program.

There was a time when a multimedia projector was the only display technology that districts were selecting for classroom use. As districts upgrade their presentation technology in classrooms, many of them are looking at all possibilities–projectors, flat panel displays, interactive displays, casting, and more.

The recent showcase featured interactive panels, with models on display from the following manufacturers represented on the DigitalEdge Purchasing Contract: Aver, BenQ, Boxlight, Clear Touch, Dell, Hitachi, InFocus, LG, Promethean, SMART, Sharp and ViewSonic. District and ESD attendees were able to explore the functionality of the different panels, ask questions and compare different manufacturers all in one location.

Thank you to the DigitalEdge vendors Advanced Classroom Technologies, Boxlight, MicroK12, SMART Technologies and Troxell Communications for making the showcase possible.
