No matter how long you’ve been teaching, you’ve always had to adapt as the world of education changes. New standards for teachers and students, new testing platforms, and new industry directions require teachers to embrace technology both inside and out of the classroom. If the thought of evaluating technology for your classroom and engaging in digital collaboration is uncomfortable for you, 21st Century Teacher Toolbox can give you some skills to navigate this new territory.

In this online course, you’ll explore creating an online PLC (professional learning community), gain some skills for finding and vetting online and software tools for your classroom, and share specific resources for increasing student learning and making your life easier. We’ll use readings, written responses, and synchronous (live) video discussions throughout the course. 20 clock hours will be available for purchase after you’ve completed all course requirements.

20 clock hours from the comfort of your couch!

This four-week course is asynchronous (you don’t have to work at specific times of day) and has a flexible timeline. Work around your schedule! Course registration closes Thursday, February 9, 2017.

Online registration is easy with PDEnroller. Register here, or email Katherine Livick with any questions.
